Job Title: Senior Principal Engineer

Job Description

A key opportunity has arisen for an accomplished Senior Principal Engineer to spearhead structural engineering activities for offshore oil and gas projects.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in topsides structure engineering, specifically within the FPSO/FSO or FLNG & other offshore facilities sectors. They will be responsible for developing corporate technical standards, procedures, and engineering workflows for topside structures, while assisting the head of discipline in managing the corporate organization.

  • Develop and implement corporate technical standards and procedures for topside structures.
  • Maintain a comprehensive EPCI and O&M phase lesson learned database.

This role requires exceptional leadership skills, analytical and problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 15 years of experience, with 7 years in the oil and gas industry, and hands-on experience with structure engineering tools such as SACS/Staad Pro and FE analysis software like FEMAP/FE Gate/Nastran/ANSYS/SESAM.

  • Professional certification as a Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) is preferred.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex engineering projects on time and within budget.
