Senior Data Management Leader

The role of Senior Data Management Leader is to oversee the end-to-end delivery of data management projects, encompassing data engineering, data migration, data modernization, and data governance. To be successful in this position, one must have a proven track record of ensuring delivery excellence through well-defined methodologies, standardized practices, and quality assurance frameworks.

This leader will ensure scope, timeline, and quality objectives are consistently met by overseeing multiple concurrent programs and aligning with business and IT strategies.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Define, implement, and enforce best practices and standards for data project execution.
  • Monitor project health through KPIs, metrics, and governance reviews.
  • Ensure risk management, escalation protocols, and change control processes are in place and effective.
  • Lead data strategy creation and implementation that supports business goals and drives value.
  • Design and define scalable and secure data architecture for data pipelines, warehousing, and processing systems.
  • Evaluate and recommend appropriate tools, platforms (e.g., Spark, Kafka, Airflow, Snowflake), and cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure).
