Cloud Engineering Lead

JLL is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineering Lead to design and implement cloud infrastructure across Azure, AWS, and GCP environments.

Job Description

This role involves leading the development of cloud-based solutions, including architecture, deployment, and optimization of Azure-based services. The successful candidate will have a strong background in cloud engineering and experience with Kubernetes orchestration, particularly AKS, as well as knowledge of EKS.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement cloud infrastructure across Azure, AWS, and GCP environments
  • Architect, deploy, and optimize Azure-based solutions, including compute, storage, networking, and security services
  • Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives with an emphasis on Azure technologies
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using modern DevOps practices
  • Implement and manage containerized workloads using AKS and EKS
  • Establish and enforce cloud security standards and best practices across environments
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions for automated deployments
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
  • Optimize cloud resource usage and implement cost management strategies
  • Troubleshoot complex issues in cloud environments
Required Qualifications
  • 8 years of experience in cloud engineering and architecture roles
  • Strong hands-on experience with Azure, plus working knowledge of AWS and GCP platforms
  • Proficiency with Kubernetes orchestration, particularly AKS, with knowledge of EKS
  • Experience with Karpenter, ArgoCD, and Istio in container environments
  • Demonstrated expertise in cloud security principles and implementations
  • Advanced knowledge of cloud networking concepts and solutions
  • Proficiency with GitHub and GitHub Actions for CI/CD workflows
  • Experience with infrastructure as code tools, particularly Terraform, Azure ARM templates, and AWS CloudFormations
