We are seeking a seasoned foundation design expert with expertise in wind turbine generator (WTG) foundations to join our team of professionals. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and analyzing WTG foundations to ensure safety, reliability, and compliance with international standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • ">Design and optimize WTG foundations using various techniques such as gravity-based, spread footing, piled, rock-anchored, shallow mat, ribbed beam, etc.
  • Perform structural load and stress calculations including gravity, wind, seismic, and fatigue loads.
  • Select and validate construction materials for efficiency and sustainability.
  • Prepare and review design basis reports, bills of quantities, drawings, and calculations.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, standards, and regulations such as BIS, ASCE, AISC, SBC, Eurocode, etc.
  • Collaborate with geotechnical, hydrology, BoP, electrical, and CTS teams to ensure a cohesive approach to project execution.
  • Support certification processes with external agencies and authorities.
  • Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize their impact on the project.
  • Provide technical support to business development, procurement, EPC partners, and consultants.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Structural specialization)
  • Master's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering preferred
  • 8-12 years of experience in the Power & Utilities sector with a focus on renewable energy foundations
  • Proficiency in software such as STAAD Pro, SAP2000, RFEM/RSTAB, SAFE, ETABS, PLAXIS 2D/3D
  • Expertise in WTG foundation design, geotechnical risk assessment, hydrology, seismic analysis, civil design codes, and regulations
