Leather Product Manager

As a Merchandiser, you will bridge the gap between buyers and suppliers. Your primary responsibility is to oversee the end-to-end process of leather products from design to delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Order Execution: Manage the entire order flow, from initial inquiries to final shipment.
  • Sourcing and Procurement: Identify and procure materials, components, and accessories.
  • Production Coordination: Collaborate with production teams to ensure efficient and timely production.
  • Communication and Negotiation: Maintain clear communication with buyers, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of orders, materials, and shipping details.
  • Product Development: Assist in product development, including material sourcing and costing.
  • Inventory Management: Optimize inventory levels and minimize waste.
  • Sales Forecasting: Develop merchandise plans and inform strategic business decisions.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Foster strong relationships with buyers and channel partners.

To succeed in this role, you will require 2+ years of experience in the same field, along with excellent problem-solving skills, effective communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.

You should possess knowledge of the leather industry, including familiarity with different types of leather, manufacturing processes, and industry best practices.
