Job Title: SAP Basis Administrator for Financial Services

Overview:
The SAP Basis Administrator will work within the Software Engineering team in IT and be based within the SAP squad. Reporting to the Squad Lead for daily work, the Basis administrator will be expected to contribute to the delivery of high-quality products. The ideal candidate should have experience of the full development lifecycle, including knowledge of Oracle Database and Windows Servers.

Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure that solutions are developed in line with departmental standards and in keeping with the strategic direction.
• Work with other members of the SAP Squad on relevant tasks using skills and knowledge to help determine direct and undertake activities.
• Participate in daily stand-ups and actively contribute to the creation of solutions that meet requirements.

Requirements:
• Proven experience of administering and supporting SAP landscape, including installation and configuration.
• Thorough understanding of SAP ECC NetWeaver Solution Manager and SAP Router configuration.
• Blend of experience between projects and support/maintenance of SAP systems.
• Understanding of SAP transport process and willingness to work out of hours.
• Understanding of Oracle Disaster recovery process and integration between SAP and third-party systems.
