Job Summary:

Risk Strategy and Consulting Director

We are seeking an experienced Risk Strategy and Consulting Director to lead our risk management initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive risk strategies with clear multi-year roadmaps, aligning risk initiatives with business objectives and market trends.
  • Establish thought leadership in risk management by creating compelling narratives and strategic insights.
  • Develop content management frameworks for high-quality thought leadership content creation, centralization, and delivery.
  • Engage stakeholders to develop valuable insights and transform complex subject matter into consumable content that drives strategic impact.
  • Drive strategic plans for industry events, conferences, webinars, and client roundtables to showcase risk capabilities and drive meaningful dialogue.
  • Cascade Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) throughout the organization.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 12+ years of hands-on strategy development and execution experience at top-tier consulting firms or equivalent roles at major financial institutions.
  • Advanced degree from a top-tier institution with strong analytical foundation.
  • Deep experience in financial services required; payments industry experience is advantageous.

Leadership and Execution Capabilities:

  • Proven ability to identify opportunities, develop comprehensive strategies, and drive implementation without constant supervision.
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering measurable outcomes and driving strategic initiatives from conception to completion.
  • Strong ownership mindset with ability to build strategies and frameworks from scratch.

Communication and Analytical Skills:

  • Exceptional ability to synthesize complex information into compelling storylines and strategic narratives.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Strong capability in developing high-quality thought leadership materials and executive-level presentations.

Trend Analysis and Synthesis:

  • Exceptional capability to rapidly analyze and synthesize information from multiple sources, identifying key market trends and strategic opportunities.
