Business Process Solutions Developer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Business Process Solutions Developer with a strong background in end-to-end Business Process Applications and Solutions development using IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW), Java/JEE based APIs, External Service Integration, and various software technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop Business Process Applications and Solutions using IBM BAW and related technologies.
  • Implement and integrate decision management systems using IBM Operational Decision Manager (ODM).
  • Develop and maintain business processes and workflows, ensuring high performance and reliability.
  • Customize Coach Views and Heritage Coach Views to meet business requirements.
  • Migrate and transform BPM Process Applications, including live process instances, from legacy systems to modern versions of IBM BAW.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers, promoting best practices and coding standards.
  • Perform unit testing and debugging of applications to ensure quality and reliability.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 6+ years of experience in IBM BAW Development, with a strong focus on software engineering principles.
  • Proficiency in Java, JEE, Web Services (REST and SOAP), and related technologies.
  • Experience with IBM FileNet, IBM BAW, IBM CMIS & IBM ODM, as well as other software technologies.
  • Strong expertise in developing and customizing Coach Views and Heritage Coach Views.
  • Ability to simplify complex BPM workflows with algorithms and troubleshoot transactions with high response times.
  • Understanding of business user-centered design principles and best practices.
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with IBM Content Navigator, Developing Plugins and BAW Widgets.
  • Familiarity with various SDLC methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall.
  • Certification in IBM BAW or related technologies is a plus.
