Job Opportunity: D365 POS Functional Consultant

Penta Consulting is a leading provider of technology resources and solutions to top OEMs across the EMEA region. We are currently partnering with a global client in search of an experienced D365 Commerce POS Functional Consultant.

This position offers the chance to join a dynamic team and contribute to the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce and Retail solutions, enhancing retail operations and point-of-sale systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead functional workshops to gather and analyze business requirements related to retail operations and POS systems, ensuring seamless integration with other D365 modules.
  • Configure and customize D365 Commerce POS modules to meet client needs, providing end-to-end support during implementation phases.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure timely resolution of POS-related issues post-deployment, staying updated on Microsoft's roadmap for D365 Commerce and recommending enhancements.
  • Support data migration and testing activities, working closely with stakeholders to ensure solutions align with business goals.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Functional Consultant in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce / Retail, with hands-on experience with D365 POS (Modern POS, Cloud POS, Store Commerce).
  • Strong understanding of retail business processes including sales, inventory, promotions, and customer management.
  • Experience with lifecycle services (LCS), Azure DevOps, and D365 configuration tools, along with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment, with Microsoft certifications in D365 Commerce or related modules preferred.
