Server management is a crucial aspect of maintaining the stability and efficiency of an organization's IT infrastructure. The role requires strong technical skills, with a focus on server installation, maintenance, monitoring, and decommissioning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver 3rd level technical support in compliance with customer service level agreements
  • Daily compute operations (events/incidents/CR/RCA) following ITIL processes
  • Implement and maintain storage operations based on netapp-nfs
  • Manage package repositories and OS images
  • Coordinate patch management using BladeLogic Automation
  • Configure and deploy server-related monitoring and alert systems
  • Perform performance tests and analysis
  • Conduct root cause analysis for customer incidents
  • Develop and maintain accurate service and task documentation
  • Collaborate with 2nd level technical support on complex tasks
  • Participate in an on-call setup, including weekends or public holidays if required by the project
