Senior Data Integration Specialist

The role of an ETL Developer involves designing, developing and implementing Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes to manage data across multiple systems. This position requires a strong understanding of data integration principles and experience with ETL tools such as Fivetran, Matillion and Qlik Sense.
Key responsibilities include:
- Data Extraction: Designing and implementing data extraction processes from various sources including databases, files and applications.
- Data Transformation: Developing and maintaining ETL processes to transform raw data into usable formats for analysis and reporting.
- Data Loading: Loading transformed data into target systems such as data warehouses and business intelligence platforms.
Required Skills:
- Hands-on experience with Fivetran (connectors, transformations, monitoring).
- Strong working knowledge of Matillion ETL (jobs, orchestration, transformation, performance tuning).
- Proficiency in SQL (complex queries, optimization, stored procedures).
- Experience with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, or Azure Synapse).
- Familiarity with data modelling techniques (star schema, snowflake schema, slowly changing dimensions).
- Exposure to Qlik Sense or other BI platforms (dashboard integration, data prep).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- 3–7 years of data integration/ETL development experience.
- Prior experience with cloud-native ETL stacks (Fivetran, Matillion, Stitch, DBT) preferred.
