Driven by a passion for innovative design, an exceptional Architect will spearhead the planning, development and execution of campus infrastructure projects at KL University. The ideal candidate will possess a strong track record in crafting functional, sustainable and aesthetically appealing designs that align with the university's vision.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Campus Planning & Design:
    • Develop comprehensive master plans and architectural designs for academic buildings, hostels, laboratories, libraries, auditoriums and other university facilities.
    • Implement modern educational infrastructure concepts, smart classrooms and collaborative spaces to foster a dynamic learning environment.
    • Optimize space utilization with scalability for future growth, ensuring the campus remains adaptable and resilient.
  • Regulatory Compliance & Approvals:
    • Ensure strict compliance with AICTE, UGC, NAAC and NBA norms, as well as state/local building codes.
    • Obtain necessary approvals from municipal and statutory authorities, guaranteeing a seamless project execution process.
    • Implement universal accessibility features, including ramps, lifts and signage, across the campus.
  • Sustainability & Green Initiatives:
    • Design eco-friendly and energy-efficient infrastructure incorporating solar power, rainwater harvesting and natural ventilation systems.
    • Promote green campus practices aligned with NAAC/AICTE recommendations, minimizing the university's carbon footprint.
    • Integrate smart building technologies for energy and resource conservation, optimizing operational efficiency.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture (B.Arch) from a recognized institution; Master's in Architecture is preferred.
  • Registration with the Council of Architecture (CoA), India, is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 7-10 years of professional experience in educational or large-scale institutional projects is required.
  • The ideal candidate will possess proven experience in campus planning, sustainable design and project execution.
