About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft AL developer to create innovative, customized solutions on Dynamics 365 Business Central.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and extend D365 Business Central using AL (extensions 2.0) for seamless integration.
  • Design and implement extensions, integrations, and third-party connectivity for enhanced performance.
  • Transform existing C/AL code into modern AL, ensuring smooth migration.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in BC environments.
  • Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Foster coding standards, performance best practices, and security guidelines.
  • Develop and maintain API integrations (REST, OData, SOAP) and data migration scripts.
  • Conduct unit testing, participate in peer code reviews, and support deployments.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 4–6 years of experience as a NAV / Business Central developer.
  • Strong command of AL development and the VS Code extension environment.
  • Experience with C/AL and migration projects to AL.
  • Solid understanding of Business Central architecture, modules, and workflows.
  • Proficient in API development and integrations (REST, OData, SOAP).
  • Familiarity with SQL Server, data modelling, and database optimisation.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging ability.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central certification(s).
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps).
  • Experience deploying or managing BC in SaaS/cloud environments.
  • Exposure to Agile delivery models.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
