Job Description:

Summary:

The successful candidate will lead the effort to develop and assign maintenance strategies for field instrumentation equipment, supporting asset reliability. Key responsibilities include performing engineering activities, reviewing and updating equipment maintenance strategy, collaborating with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams, and standardizing instrumentation maintenance procedures.

Purpose & Accountabilities:

  • Perform engineering activities covering all key areas of instrumentation technology including field instruments, control and shutdown valves, analyzers, and control systems.
  • Review and update equipment maintenance strategy for instrumentation (e.g., Transmitters, control valves, flow meters, analyzers).
  • Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to ensure alignment of maintenance strategies with operational priorities.
  • Understand asset criticality analysis and asset strategy management.
  • Understand Preventive, Predictive, Condition monitoring tasks with respect to assets.
  • Standardize instrumentation maintenance procedure and test intervals across similar asset classes.
  • Knowledge of hazardous area classification, international instrumentation standards.
  • Skilled Instrument Maintenance Technician with understanding of the preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of field instrumentation, including control valves, on-off valves, various field instruments.
