Job Title: Sr. Instrumentation engineer

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Instrumentation Engineer to join our team in the design and development of instrumentation and control systems for industrial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare design deliverables, including Design Basis, Instrumentation & Control system specifications, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

  • Develop detailed technical documents, such as Instrument Index and I/O List, Functional loop schematics, Logic Diagrams, Inst. Datasheets, Installation drawings, Hook&ups, and Cable Tray lay outs, to facilitate effective project execution.

  • Design and develop Control room layouts, Cable and Junction Box Schedule, Wiring and Interconnection drawings, Loop Wiring Diagram, MTO, Construction/Erection Tender, CAPEX support, and other related documents.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review and update P&ID, 3D Model, IDR/IDC, Cable tray layouts, Equipment layouts, and Instrumentation Layout.

  • Perform calculations for Inst. Sizing, Control Valve Sizing, Flow meter sizing, Safety valve sizing, Air and power consumption calculations, Thermowell Wake freq. calculations, UPS Sizing, Transformer sizing, Cable tray sizing, and cable sizing.

  • Familiarity with codes and standards applicable to FMCG Plants and NEC standards is essential for this role.

  • A strong understanding of wiring schemes for ESD/DCS and RTU/SCADA hardware specification is required.

  • The successful candidate will have expertise in instrument selection for all types of field instruments, with exposure to selection of instruments and systems for Hazardous areas.
