Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and be able to provide comprehensive occupational therapy services in a variety of settings.

The successful applicant will be responsible for assessing the developmental, physical, sensory, and cognitive abilities of children and developing individualized treatment plans to promote independence and improve functional skills.

They will also be required to collaborate with parents/caregivers to develop and implement home programs and provide education and training on therapeutic techniques and adaptive equipment use.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of children's developmental, physical, sensory, and cognitive abilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and child/family goals
  • Provide direct occupational therapy interventions, including therapeutic activities, sensory integration techniques, and adaptive equipment training
  • Collaborate with parents/caregivers to develop and implement home programs
  • Provide education and training to parents/caregivers on therapeutic techniques, adaptive equipment use, and strategies to promote child independence
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
  • Current licensure and certification as an Occupational Therapist
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
