Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Marine Design Engineer to fill this challenging role.
About the Role:
- This position involves performing complex calculations, creating detailed designs and overseeing projects from conception to delivery.
Main Responsibilities:
- To conduct stability analyses using advanced software tools.
- To prepare models for heavy lift vessels and deck carriers, ensuring accuracy and precision.
- To evaluate results, create detailed reports and ensure quality assurance.
- To provide expert guidance on hydrostatics and naval architecture principles.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Naval Architecture or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in ship design, with expertise in hydrostatic calculations.
- Excellent knowledge of GHS software and AutoCAD 2D.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Additional Requirements:
- Familiarity with class rules and IMO regulations is essential.
- Experience in conducting inclining tests and report preparation is highly desirable.
