Effective financial management is essential to our operations. As a Billing Specialist, you will play a key role in maintaining accuracy by preparing and issuing invoices to customers on time.

About the Position:

The Billing Specialist will be responsible for ensuring timely and precise invoicing, meeting deadlines, and entering invoices into customer systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and issue invoices to customers
  • Meet billing deadlines
  • Enter invoices into customer systems
  • Submit invoices electronically
  • Understand key areas of billing specific to customers
  • Verify each field on invoices before submission
  • Ensure all necessary support and backups are attached to invoices
  • Update billing status in databases
  • Maintain billing logs and process files
  • Work closely with the payroll and billing team to accelerate billing
  • Send out statements of accounts to customers
  • Reconcile self-billed cases with customer-approved timesheets
  • Handle billing rejections and credit/rebills
  • Maintain SOPs for the billing process and update them regularly
Requirements:
  • Minimum two years of experience in billing
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Excel (formulas, V-lookup, Pivot Table)
  • Good analytical and process knowledge
  • Good accounting knowledge
