In this role, you will conceptualize and design innovative mechanical solutions with a strong understanding of functionality, manufacturability, and performance. You will lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electronics, manufacturing, quality, and sourcing.

You will apply DFM/DFA principles to optimize product design for efficient and cost-effective manufacturing. Your expertise in CAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for 3D modeling, assemblies, and design validation will be invaluable. You will select appropriate materials based on your solid foundation in material science, including metals, polymers, and composites.

Your ability to interpret and analyze technical datasheets, specifications, and other engineering documentation will enable you to provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers. You will also be responsible for product assembly, testing, and validation.

To succeed in this role, you will need a strong background in mechanical product design, preferably in a product-based company. A Bachelor's or Master's degree from a reputable institution is preferred. You should have a solid understanding of engineering physics and mechanical principles.
