About the Position:
We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chartered Accountant (CA) to join our finance team as a Finance Manager.
The ideal candidate will lead financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, annual financial reporting, and audit coordination. They'll work closely with auditors to ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, leveraging their expertise to drive business success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop and implement a comprehensive budgeting process, providing insightful recommendations, preparing and updating financial forecasts, monitoring budget performance, and conducting variance analysis on a regular basis.
- Financial Analysis & Reporting: Conduct detailed financial analysis, ensure the accuracy and timeliness of monthly and quarterly financial reports, oversee the preparation of management reports, and develop performance tracking tools to measure key financial metrics.
- Annual Financial Planning & Reporting: Prepare annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company policies, collaborate with external auditors, and ensure timely filing of statutory returns.
- Audit Coordination: Manage and coordinate the external audit process, work closely with auditors to provide required information and documentation, ensure the financial statements comply with accounting standards and local regulations, and address and resolve any audit issues.
- Cash Flow Management: Oversee cash flow forecasting, ensure sufficient liquidity for operational and strategic needs, manage working capital, optimize the balance between receivables, payables, and inventory, and monitor financial risks.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Education: Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with a strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, and standards.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-4 years of experience post qualification in finance or accounting, strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting, proven track record in managing the annual financial reporting process, and liaising with auditors.
- Skills: Advanced knowledge of financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting tools, strong proficiency in financial analysis, variance analysis, and management reporting, proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems, experience in managing external audits, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
