Our team is seeking an experienced integration developer to join our project.

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled developer with hands-on experience in designing, developing, and deploying integration solutions using IBM Integration Bus (IIB) and App Connect Enterprise (ACE). The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in enterprise service buses, API development, message flows, and ESQL.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Designing, developing, and deploying integration solutions using IIB/ACE.
  • Developing message flows, ESQL, Java, and XSLT transformations for seamless data exchange.
  • Implementing REST/SOAP APIs, Web Services, and microservices using ACE.
  • Configuring IBM MQ, Kafka, and other messaging systems for event-driven integrations.
  • Working on cloud-based integrations like IBM Cloud, Azure, and hybrid deployment models.
  • Troubleshooting and optimizing performance bottlenecks in ACE/IIB applications.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams (business analysts, architects, QA) to deliver scalable integration solutions.
  • Following best practices for error handling, logging, and monitoring in ACE.
  • Ensuring compliance with security policies (TLS/SSL, OAuth, JWT) in API integrations.
  • Participating in CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments (Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Documenting technical designs, deployment steps, and operational guides.
  • Hands-on experience with REST/SOAP APIs, Open API/Swagger.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices (CI/CD, Jenkins, Git).
  • Experience with monitoring tools like IBM Integration Bus Dashboard, Grafana, or Prometheus.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have the following skills and qualifications:

  • 6+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and deploying integration solutions using IIB/ACE.
  • Strong expertise in ESB, API development, message flows, and ESQL.
  • Hands-on experience with REST/SOAP APIs, Open API/Swagger.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices (CI/CD, Jenkins, Git).
  • Experience with monitoring tools like IBM Integration Bus Dashboard, Grafana, or Prometheus.
