Servicenow Platform Developer

As a Servicenow platform developer, you will play a key role in shaping digital service operations by designing and implementing custom workflows, integrations, and automation projects within the ServiceNow environment. Your primary focus will be on developing catalog items, UI policies, notifications, and approval flows to streamline business processes and enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and optimize catalog items, UI policies, notifications, and approval flows to meet business requirements.
  • Write scripts using the Glide API to automate form behavior and background logic, ensuring seamless integration with other systems and minimizing manual errors.
  • Support complex integration tasks involving REST APIs or data imports, maintaining high-quality standards and adhering to best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams during Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and QA testing, providing expertise and contributing to successful project outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, version control, and user guides to facilitate knowledge sharing and ensure continuity.

Requirements:

  • 4–6 years of experience in ServiceNow application development, with a strong understanding of the platform's capabilities and limitations.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript and Flow Designer, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Experience working with ITSM and HRSD modules, as well as familiarity with REST API integrations and common script includes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and collaboration abilities, with a passion for continuous learning and improvement.
