Business Intelligence Data Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop high-performance data models optimized for reporting purposes, adhering to enterprise architecture and data governance standards.
  • Lead projects from design to testing, analyzing business requirements and developing technical processes.
  • Collaborate with data engineers to create and manage stored procedures and views.
  • Provide expert technical support and mentor other team members in professional development.

Technical Requirements:

  • Develop reports and dashboards using Power BI, SSRS, and Power BI Report Builder.
  • Experience in working with Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Database, Azure Databricks, and Azure Analysis Service.
  • Ability to make advanced DAX queries and functions for business queries.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • College/University Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
  • 5-8 years of experience in Business Intelligence and Data Analytics.
  • Power BI/Azure certifications will be an added advantage.

Key Skills:

  • Conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling proficiency.
  • Azure Databricks, Azure SQL database, and Spark SQL programming skills.
  • Data Visualization and Analytic Problem-Solving skills.
