Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Software Systems Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and validating embedded system firmware.

The role requires strong technical expertise in software development and safety systems, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design, develop, and validate embedded system firmware to meet specific requirements.
  2. Collaborate with safety engineers to drive design and development of safety-critical systems.
  3. Work closely with software developers to develop system software and ecosystem strategies.
  4. Provide guidance and support to junior team members to ensure their technical skills are up-to-date.
Requirements
  1. Experience in developing, debugging, and troubleshooting embedded systems.
  2. Knowledge of communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, MODBUS, and Profi/Fieldbus.
  3. Experience with microcontrollers, including 16-bit, 32-bit, and Freescale processors.
  4. Familiarity with IEC 61508/61511 standards and SDLC processes.
