Software Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering group, you will play a vital role in the design, development, and delivery of high-quality software solutions that meet our business goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy software applications using various programming languages, frameworks, and technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements, and develop technical solutions to meet those needs.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Conduct research and analysis to aid in product troubleshooting and optimization efforts.
  • Work closely with global teams to ensure effective technical solutions.
  • Provide an escalation point and participate in on-call support rotations.
  • Actively monitor key metrics and report on trends.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 6 years of experience in software development, preferably with a focus on Cloud/IT technology.
  • Strong knowledge and working experience with programming languages such as Java and Python.
  • Experience with application development frameworks like Spring Boot.
  • Knowledge of Cloud technologies and services such as AWS Lambda and AWS S3.
  • Experience working with relational and no-sql databases such as Postgres and MongoDB.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD principles and tools like Gitlab, Splunk, and Datadog.
  • Good knowledge and working experience in Agile methodology and familiar with tools like Jira and Confluence.
