Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement components of the Agricarbon Ecosystem Model (AEM) using Python programming language.
  • Translate complex modelling concepts into robust, production-ready code that enhances our ability to make accurate predictions of soil carbon levels and agricultural system interactions.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and external partners to achieve shared goals.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Advanced programming skills in Python, including proficiency with scientific libraries such as NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, scikit-learn, and GeoPandas.
  • Environmental modelling experience, particularly in developing and working with ecosystem models or related areas.
  • Data science proficiency, including experience with machine learning techniques and their application to environmental data.
