Job Summary

Carry out supplier validation audits, working closely with Engineering/Projects teams to define process parameters and criteria. Lead the supplier approval process by assessing manufacturing/technology capabilities and Health, Safety, and Environmental risks.

Main Responsibilities
  • Work with Engineering/Projects team to ensure supplier process capability meets product and process requirements.
  • Lead supplier approval process, assessing manufacturing/technology capabilities and Health, Safety, and Environmental risks.
  • Support new product launches, ensuring supplier quality meets required standards.
  • Facilitate root cause analysis and corrective actions of supplier quality issues.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of AIAG core tools (APQP, SPC, MSA, PPAP, FMEA & CP).
  • Knowledge of IATF16949, ISO45001, ISO 50001.
  • Metrology, Inspection Methods, and Equipment.
  • Bachelor of Engineering - Mechanical or equivalent.
  • Substantial experience in high volume manufacturing environment, preferably automotive.
  • Experience in Quality Assurance/Supplier quality development.
