Finance Testing Role

A pivotal position within a specialist consulting and technology firm that supports global insurers, entails collaborating with finance teams to ensure the accuracy of financial data. As a Finance Tester, you will focus on validating end-to-end financial processes, encompassing penny testing, subledger reconciliation, and cash lifecycle testing.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test cases for insurance-specific finance processes.
  • Test integrations between policy administration systems, claims systems, and the finance subledger, ensuring seamless data exchange.
  • Verify IFRS/UK GAAP postings and confirm adherence to established accounting principles.
  • Analyze high-volume insurance transactions to validate data integrity.

You will work closely with various teams to identify and resolve defects, communicate test progress, and provide support during UAT. This role demands strong communication skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between finance and IT teams effectively.
