Key Role: Clinical Data Management Specialist

About the Job:

This position is crucial in defining project specifications for data management services, including protocol conversion, database build, CRF design and data review and reconciliation tools.

As a Clinical Data Management Specialist, you will be responsible for understanding external data collection, its integration into clinical trials, and the management and reconciliation processes required to ensure accuracy and relevance.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Data Quality and Integrity: Execute data cleaning strategies to accelerate time to achieve subject data cleanliness and ensure high-quality, timely deliverables.
  • Trend Analysis and Reporting: Perform holistic data review and trending analysis via reporting and analytics to proactively identify issues, risks, and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning: Utilize AI and ML for anomaly and outlier detection to enhance efficiency and quality of trial data.
  • KPIs and Metrics: Monitor and interpret key performance indicators (KPIs), metrics, dashboards, and reports to provide actionable recommendations to study leads/project managers.
  • Platform Configuration: Define specifications and collaborate with technical teams on configuration of centralized data management platforms and oversight activities.
  • Documentation and Review: Prepares and maintains data management documentation and updates throughout the trial lifecycle.
  • Quality Control: Reviews and ensures quality control of team-developed deliverables, covering eCRFs, study documents, program/report specifications, and analytics modules.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborates and works as a team to ensure deliverables are completed on time with high quality.
  • Compliance: Ensures compliance with industry quality standards, regulations, guidelines, and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Experience in clinical data management, preferably with a focus on data quality and integrity.
  • Familiarity with data management systems, software, and tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Understanding of industry regulations and standards.
