Senior Web Developer - WordPress

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Web Developer to lead the development and management of our company's website. As a seasoned expert in WordPress, you will be responsible for delivering high-performance, secure, and user-centric web experiences that support business growth.

  • Develop, customize, and maintain high-performance WordPress themes and plugins.
  • Work within the WordPress VIP platform, ensuring code quality, security, and scalability aligned with VIP's rigorous development standards.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with design, content, DevOps, and marketing teams to execute on web and CMS needs.

This role requires a strong understanding of UI/UX best practices for marketing and content-heavy websites. You should have expertise in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript (including React), HTML5, and CSS3, as well as experience with Git, GitHub, and CI/CD tools.

The ideal candidate will have at least 4+ years of professional experience in WordPress development, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality, scalable, and secure WordPress websites for high-traffic environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement advanced publishing workflows, multilingual support, and custom Gutenberg blocks to support global marketing efforts.
  • Optimize the site for SEO, mobile responsiveness, accessibility, and Core Web Vitals.
  • Conduct code reviews and manage Git-based workflows, integrating with CI/CD pipelines as needed.

Requirements:

  • Master's/Bachelors degree in an Engineering discipline.
  • At least 4+ years of professional experience in WordPress development, with at least 12 years working within WordPress VIP or similar enterprise-grade WordPress environments.

Nice To Have:

  • Experience integrating with marketing and sales tools.
  • Familiarity with enterprise CDN configurations, caching strategies, and observability tools.
