Database Architectural Expert

Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Database Administrator to join our team. As a Database Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in developing and creating cutting-edge solutions for the healthcare industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in daily operations to support the business.
  • Optimize database (SQL calls) for maximum performance.
  • Collaborate with management in the development of performance goals and long-term operational plans.
  • Improve operational processes and performance; recommend solutions.
  • Experience with SQL and stored routines.
  • HA Proxy, ProxySQL or MaxScale experience is a plus.
  • AWS database technologies like Aurora, RDS working knowledge is required.
  • Monitor day-to-day operational systems and processes for goal progress and obstacles.
  • Maintain relationships with technology team members, external partners, and vendors.
  • Monitor key metrics for efficient task completion.
  • Perform technical troubleshooting to diagnose and correct data and database issues.

Requirements:

  • 4 years of MySQL management experience is required.
  • Experience in MySQL configuring HA and clustering solutions is required.
  • Large scale MySQL deployments experience is necessary.
  • MySQL sharding architecture and techniques expertise is essential.
  • Linux/Unix based OS Environment experience is required.
  • MS SQL experience is beneficial.
  • Software as a service industry experience is beneficial.
  • Cloud experience is beneficial
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and professional skills are essential.
  • Able to plan and manage operational process for efficiency and productivity.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and customer needs anticipation ability.
  • Organizational and prioritization skills with multiple tasks management.
