Job Title: Garage Lab Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Garage Lab Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in innovation program facilitation, stakeholder management, and hands-on technical expertise.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the garage lab, including coordinating workshops, training sessions, and hackathons. They will also work closely with cross-functional teams to foster a culture of experimentation and collaboration.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You should also have a strong understanding of equipment safety and compliance standards, as well as experience running innovation labs, workshops, or maker environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the garage lab
  • Coordinate workshops, training sessions, and hackathons
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to foster a culture of experimentation and collaboration
  • Develop and implement programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to develop and implement innovation strategies

Requirements:

  • 7-10 years of experience in a related field
  • Proven track record of success in innovation program facilitation, stakeholder management, and hands-on technical expertise
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong understanding of equipment safety and compliance standards

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience running innovation labs, workshops, or maker environments
  • Hands-on technical expertise in 3D printing, laser cutting, CNC, electronics prototyping, and related tools
  • Stakeholder management and collaboration skills
