Network Security Strategist Role

The Network Reliability Engineering (NRE) Security Operations team is the subject matter expert in designing and implementing network security strategies and platforms for next-gen operations.

This role will work closely with a matrix team of expert network architects and engineers to drive the adoption of NRE practices and operating models across all network product towers, globally.

The candidate focuses on defining and executing zero-trust strategies to prevent unauthorized access to networks while meeting stringent compliance requirements.

Articulating and effectively executing a vision to address increasing complexity, scale of modern IT systems, and ensuring real-time asset visibility, assessment, remediation, and access control to services is key.

Establishing technical relationships and partnering with business disciplines, other teams, solution providers, and operational partners to define and implement network NRE zero trust security roadmaps, building and enforcing standards defined in them.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Submitting reports in a timely manner, ensuring delivery deadlines are met.
  • Promoting project progress documentation accuracy.
  • Providing input and assistance to other teams regarding projects.
