Job Overview

  • We are seeking a seasoned Mergers and Acquisitions Executive to lead our company's inorganic growth strategy, driving strategic acquisitions, joint ventures, divestitures, and partnerships to support our long-term business objectives.

Mergers & Acquisitions Strategy and Origination

  • The successful candidate will develop and execute an inorganic growth strategy that aligns with our company's vision, identifying opportunities that enhance technological capability, market access, or operational leverage.
  • This individual will build strong relationships with investment banks, consultants, legal advisors, and target companies, leveraging their network to drive deal flow.

Deal Evaluation and Structuring

  • The Mergers and Acquisitions Executive will lead the end-to-end transaction process, from financial modeling to commercial due diligence, business case development, and deal structuring.
  • They will assess the strategic fit, cultural alignment, and integration complexity of potential targets, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a seamless transaction process.

Due Diligence & Risk Assessment

  • This role involves managing cross-functional due diligence teams, identifying key deal risks, and developing mitigation strategies to ensure a successful outcome.
  • The Mergers and Acquisitions Executive will drive synergy analysis, including cost, technology, and customer base assessments, to maximize value from acquisitions.

Negotiation and Execution

  • The successful candidate will lead negotiations on price, structure, governance, and definitive agreements, earning board/executive approvals for deals.

Post-Merger Integration (PMI)

  • This individual will develop and oversee integration plans to deliver expected value from acquisitions, aligning operating models, systems, supply chain, and human capital.

Market Intelligence & Strategic Input

  • The Mergers and Acquisitions Executive will monitor global auto-component trends and competitor strategies, advising leadership on inorganic growth opportunities in India and international markets.
