Instrumentation and Controls Engineer

This is a challenging role for a skilled engineer to work on designing and specifying control systems for rotating machinery used in industrial applications.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining data models and working with project members to ensure accurate representation of instrumentation control engineering.
  • Designing unit control systems, low voltage wiring systems, and detailed SCADA/IC design drawings including control panel layout, I/O termination, and motor control schematics.
  • Creating export files as requested by digitalization specification in different formats such as ISF and CFIHOS Standards.
  • Innovating solutions to prevent non-conformances during project execution.

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Instrumentation, Controls or Electronics or Diploma with proven experience.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Rotating Equipment for Oil Gas, Petrochemical, and other Process Industry applications.
  • Experience in Electrical Equipment and Services - Installation Commissioning Engineering shall be considered.
  • Application experience with object-oriented engineering software such as COMOS PT.
  • Knowledge of standards such as API 670, IEC Explosive Atmosphere Standards, and DIN EN Graphic Symbol Standards.
  • Good analytical and cross-cultural abilities.
