Hedge Fund Portfolio Manager Opportunity

Our team is seeking an experienced Hedge Fund Portfolio Manager to take charge of our hedge fund portfolios. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering accurate reporting and operational efficiency in the management of hedge fund investments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily, Weekly, and Monthly NAV Calculations: Prepare timely and accurate net asset value calculations for hedge fund portfolios, adhering to strict deadlines and regulatory requirements.
  • P&L Reconciliation: Perform thorough reconciliation of profit and loss statements between reports and financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Cash Reconciliation: Conduct regular cash reconciliations across multiple systems to identify discrepancies and ensure seamless financial operations.
  • Investigation and Resolution: Investigate discrepancies in positions, pricing, fees, and expenses, taking prompt corrective action to prevent further issues.
  • Month-End and Year-End Closing Processes: Collaborate with the team to support the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely completion and accuracy.
  • Performance Reporting: Assist in generating performance reports and investor statements, providing valuable insights into portfolio performance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2–5 years of experience in fund accounting or hedge fund operations, with a strong understanding of financial instruments and portfolio management principles.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel, with knowledge of fund accounting software an advantage.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
