Information Security Management System (ISMS) Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional with expertise in Information Security Management Systems (ISMS), ISO 27001 implementation/audits, and IT security.

Job Description:

  • Implement and maintain ISMS frameworks based on ISO 27001 standards to ensure compliance and minimize risk.
  • Conduct gap assessments, risk assessments, and internal audits to identify areas for improvement.
  • Support external ISO 27001 certification and surveillance audits to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Develop and maintain documentation such as policies, procedures, SoA, risk registers, etc. to facilitate information sharing and decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address compliance and audit findings, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
  • Conduct regular IT security audits and report on findings and remediation plans to stakeholders.
  • Provide advisory services on risk management, compliance, and information security best practices to support business growth and success.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant regulations, standards, and emerging security risks to stay ahead of potential threats.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in GRC, ISO 27001, ISMS, and IT audit.
  • Strong understanding of ISO 27001 controls, risk assessment methodologies, and audit lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks like NIST, GDPR, SOC 2 is an asset.
  • Excellent communication and report writing skills to effectively convey complex information.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple client engagements with ease.
