Job Opportunity

At our organization, we are seeking a seasoned Software Engineering Manager to lead the development of high-quality software products. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to drive innovation and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee software product engineering deliverables and activities including solution architecture reviews/recommendations, design, development, testing, and automation
  • Monitor the progress of milestones and team velocity, recommend adjustments as necessary
  • Utilize technical expertise and Cloud-based experience to ensure scalability, high performance, and security in built products
  • Collaborate with engineers to create, maintain, and enhance pipelines for Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) of infrastructure and application code
  • Apply best practice software engineering principles towards the development of applications, to production machine learning models
  • Foster a culture that promotes business value velocity, builds products of high quality that can scale, and user experiences that support end-to-end workflows rich with insights and simple to use
  • Lead the team in troubleshooting and problem resolution
  • Stay current on technology to capitalize on new capabilities that advance business

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 13 years of total IT experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years of proven experience leading/managing technical teams with a passion for developing talent within the team
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field
  • Cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect are preferred
  • Strong knowledge of cloud computing concepts
  • Proven track record of delivering software engineering initiatives, data product initiatives, and cross-IT/business initiatives
  • Applied expertise in software engineering methodologies including automation and CI/CD exposure to AWS
  • Coaching of team members
