**Job Opportunity: Lead Central Kitchen Operations

We are seeking an experienced culinary professional to lead the Central Kitchen team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire operation of the kitchen, ensuring high-quality products and excellent service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate production logs, inventory, and waste reports to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Prepare duty rosters, train staff, and hold them accountable for production execution according to established standards.
  • Develop and design new ideas, menus, and items for the Pastry Kitchen, engaging customers and driving interest in our offerings.
  • Inspect food quality, condition of equipment, and devices used for cooking to maintain high standards.
  • Report equipment problems, maintenance issues, safety hazards, or unsafe practices to supervisors immediately.
  • Ensure compliance with food hygiene and Health and Safety standards, interacting with guests to understand their needs and preferences.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience as a Head Pastry Chef, specialized in Pastry/Bakery, with at least 3-5 years of experience as Head of Department.
  • A Degree/Diploma in Pastry from an accredited institution.
  • Strong technical understanding in pastry making and bakery.
