About This Role

The lead of livelihoods will spearhead a strategy to create sustainable, scalable, and inclusive income opportunities in rural areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a comprehensive strategy for livelihoods aligned with the organization's vision and socio-economic realities.
  • Identify and design sustainable income-generating opportunities for rural communities.
  • Build models that can scale across regions and ensure long-term community ownership.
  • Lead program design and planning from start to finish.
  • Integrate technology, digital literacy, and market linkages in livelihood programs.
  • Prepare budgets, resources, and monitoring frameworks for programs.
Requirements
  • Postgraduate degree in Rural Development, Management, Social Work, Agriculture, or related fields.
  • 10–15 years of experience in livelihoods, rural development, or community enterprise building.
  • Proven track record of leading large-scale initiatives in India, preferably in North India.
  • Strong understanding of social enterprises, women's economic empowerment, agriculture, and allied sectors.
  • Fluency in English, Hindi, and Punjabi (preferred).
