As a skilled Invoicing Specialist, you will play a key role in maintaining financial accuracy by ensuring timely and precise invoicing.

About the Role:

We are seeking an Invoicing Specialist to prepare and issue invoices to customers, meet delivery timelines and understand key areas of invoicing specific to each customer.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and issue invoices to customers
  • Meet invoice delivery timelines
  • Enter invoices into customer invoicing websites
  • Submit invoices electronically via data interchange
  • Verify each field on the invoices before submission
  • Maintain supporting documentation and backups attached to invoices
  • Update invoice submission status in Navision and maintain logs for future reference
  • Work closely with payroll and invoicing teams to accelerate the submission process
  • Send statements of accounts to customers
  • Reconcile self-billed cases with approved timesheets, address any discrepancies and ensure AR hygiene
  • Handle invoice rejections and credit/rebill issues
  • Maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the invoicing process and update them regularly
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years' experience in invoicing
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel (formulas, V-lookup, Pivot tables)
  • Good analytical and process knowledge
  • Sound accounting knowledge
