Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Pharmacist to join our team in Kolkata. The successful candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications, maintaining inventory, and providing excellent customer service.

About the Role

The Pharmacist will work in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment, handling daily operations, and supervising a team of pharmacists and support staff.

Responsibilities

  1. Dispensing medications as prescribed by doctors, ensuring accuracy and patient safety
  2. Maintaining accurate records of prescriptions, medication stock, and customer transactions
  3. Providing exceptional customer service, answering queries, and resolving complaints
  4. Supervising junior pharmacists, mentoring, and training them to improve skills and knowledge
  5. Monitoring compliance with regulatory guidelines, policies, and procedures
  6. Handling escalations, audits, and quality control measures

Requirements

  • Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy
  • Valid Pharmacist License
  • 6 months to 5+ years of experience in Retail Pharmacy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of regulatory guidelines and industry standards
