We are seeking a highly skilled security professional to lead our product security initiatives.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security of our products and services throughout their entire lifecycle. This includes driving security initiatives, mentoring engineers, and acting as a subject matter expert to build a security-first culture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead threat modeling and security design reviews for new and existing features to ensure security is integrated into the earliest stages of software development.
  • Design and evangelize secure architectural patterns and reference implementations for our products, services, and APIs.
  • Conduct security assessments, code reviews, and penetration testing on our products to identify and address vulnerabilities before they reach production.
  • Own the security posture of our API ecosystem, implementing and automating security controls to protect our data and users.
  • Develop tools and automation scripts in Python to scale security processes, integrate security into our CI/CD pipelines, and empower engineering teams to build securely by default.
Requirements:
  • 6+ years of extensive experience in security engineering with a strong focus on product and application security.
  • Deep expertise in securing the software development lifecycle (SDLC), from design to deployment.
  • Strong proficiency in Python for security tooling, automation, and vulnerability research.
  • Proven experience with threat modeling methodologies (e.g., STRIDE, DREAD).
  • In-depth knowledge of API security standards and best practices (e.g., OAuth, JWT, OWASP API Security Top 10).
  • Expertise in security architecture principles, secure coding practices, and vulnerability management.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and educate technical and non-technical audiences.
