Piping Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Piping Engineer to lead the design, development and implementation of piping systems for various energy projects.

  • The successful candidate will collaborate with project teams to understand project requirements and objectives.
  • They will design and develop piping systems ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • They will conduct feasibility studies and analyze technical specifications to determine the most suitable piping solutions.
  • They will prepare detailed engineering drawings including isometric and orthographic views.
  • They will perform stress analysis and calculations to ensure the integrity and safety of piping systems.
  • They will coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration of piping systems.
  • They will review and approve vendor documents and drawings.
  • They will conduct site visits and inspections to monitor the installation and performance of piping systems.
  • They will troubleshoot and resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise during the design construction or operation phases.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Piping Engineer in the energy industry.
  • Strong knowledge of piping design principles codes and standards (ASME ANSI API etc).
  • Proficiency in using piping design software (AutoCAD SolidWorks etc).
  • Familiarity with stress analysis software (CAESAR II ANSYS etc).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Professional engineering license is preferred.
