Cloud Data Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Data Engineer to support the modernization of our platform.

This role involves designing data pipelines, orchestrating workflows, processing data, managing datasets, and integrating with various APIs and CI/CD Pipelines.

  • Design and deploy data pipelines using Big Query and Google Cloud Platform services.
  • Orchestrate workflows using Apache Airflow and other tools.
  • Process and transform data using Pyspark, Dataflows, and Dataproc.
  • Integrate with Restful or GraphQL APIs and CI/CD Pipelines using Docker and Jenkins builds.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot data components, including data architecture, logical and physical data models, database objects, and database administration.

Requirements:

At least 6 years of data engineering experience, previous financial or banking experience, and proficiency in Java or Python programming languages are required.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with cloud-based technologies, specifically Google Cloud Platform services, and be familiar with Agile development methodologies and Git version control.
