Job Description

As a Data Transformation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data transformation logic as per business rules.

You will work on database systems for storing and managing structured data, perform mapping of static data between source and target systems, and validate data quality and integrity during transformation.

Additionally, you will collaborate with data analysts and business users to gather transformation requirements, create and maintain transformation scripts and jobs, and use ETL tools or custom scripting to automate transformation workflows.

Other responsibilities include supporting data migration and integration projects, documenting data flow diagrams, mapping specifications, and process steps, and ensuring performance optimization in data transformation processes.

Troubleshooting transformation errors and resolving data mismatches is also a key part of this role.
