Informatica Developer

We are seeking a skilled Informatica developer to join our team. As an Informatica developer, you will design, develop, and manage robust data integration solutions using Informatica PowerCenter and Cloud Data Integration (CDI). You will work on designing complex ETL processes and data pipelines for hybrid and cloud environments.

The ideal candidate will have experience with Informatica development, including mappings, sessions, workflows, and transformations. They will also have expertise in SQL and knowledge of various relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, and Teradata. In addition, they should be familiar with Unix/Linux scripting for automation and have experience with ETL performance tuning and troubleshooting.

As an Informatica developer, you will work collaboratively with data architects, business analysts, and source/target system owners to define data requirements and deliver effective solutions. You will create and manage mappings, transformations, sessions, workflows, and tasks across hybrid and cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement complex ETL processes and data pipelines using Informatica PowerCenter and CDI.

  • Optimize data integration solutions for performance, scalability, and data quality.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve data integration issues in development and production settings.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as an Informatica developer with expertise in PowerCenter and CDI.
Skills:
  • Strong proficiency in Informatica PowerCenter development (mappings, sessions, workflows, transformations).
  • Hands-on experience with Informatica Cloud Data Integration (CDI) / IICS, including cloud mapping configuration, task design, and connectors.
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts (e.g., star/snowflake schemas, Slowly Changing Dimensions).
  • Expertise in SQL and experience with various relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata).
  • Experience with ETL performance tuning and troubleshooting.
Preferred Skills:
  • Informatica certifications (e.g., PowerCenter Developer, CDI/IICS Specialist).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) in the context of data integration projects.
  • Knowledge of other Informatica products (e.g., Data Quality, MDM, Axon).
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
