Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Siebel Systems Administrator to oversee and support Siebel environments, encompassing installation, configuration, performance tuning, upgrades, and ongoing administration.

Responsibilities include managing Siebel installations on Windows and Linux platforms, upgrading Siebel to versions IP17 and above, configuring and managing Gateway clustering and multi-mode AI load balancing, and performing performance tuning for Siebel servers.

The role also involves troubleshooting EAI component crashes using FDR, component logs, and other diagnostic tools, carrying out system administration tasks such as parameter configuration, SSO setup, and LDAP integration, automating repetitive administrative activities where possible, monitoring and optimizing the performance of Siebel systems and components, integrating and managing tools such as WebLogic Server, BI Publisher, OAS, and OAP with Siebel, setting up and testing disaster recovery environments, and managing and monitoring Siebel deployments on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure or similar cloud platforms.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong hands-on experience in Siebel Administration
  • Proficient in upgrades to IP17 or later versions
  • Well-versed in Gateway clustering and AI load balancing
  • Experienced in performance tuning of Siebel infrastructure
  • Capable of analyzing and resolving EAI component issues
  • Good understanding of SSO, LDAP to Active Directory, and system integrations
  • Ability to automate and streamline administrative tasks
  • Knowledge of WebLogic, BI Publisher, OAS, and related integrations
  • Experience with DR setup and validation
  • Exposure to managing Siebel on cloud platforms such as OCI
  • Basic skills in Oracle Database administration
