Cloud Data Engineer Position

At Jade Business Services, we are seeking a seasoned data engineer with expertise in building robust data pipelines on the Google Cloud Platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of different file formats and be proficient in Python and SQL.

  • We require a senior GCP data engineer with 10+ years of experience to work on challenging projects for various industries.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing and developing scalable data pipelines using GCP tools for both batch and real-time processing.
  • Constructing large, complex datasets to meet diverse business needs.
  • Translating business requirements into clear technical specifications.
  • Leveraging GCP services such as Big Query, Cloud Dataflow, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Composer to build integrated systems.
  • Orchestrating workflows using Cloud Composer.
  • Implementing DevOps and CI/CD practices using GitHub and Terraform.
  • Ensuring data security and governance using IAM roles and policies.
  • Monitoring pipelines using logs and alerts.
  • Recommending improvements to enhance data quality and efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Deep expertise in GCP services including Big Query, Cloud Dataflow, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Composer.
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL.
  • Experience with structured ERP solutions like SAP, Oracle EBS, and Salesforce.
  • A strong understanding of different file formats CSV, JSON, XML, Parquet, ORC, Avro.
  • Knowledge of Data Lake concepts.
  • Experience with API development and consumption.
  • Proven ability to implement IAM best practices.
