Cloud Data Engineer Specialist

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Data Engineer to play a key role in our data-driven organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, cloud computing, and software development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the data science team to design and implement complex algorithms that provide actionable insights from our data assets.
  • Develop and maintain large-scale data pipelines using Google Cloud technologies such as BigQuery, Airflow, and CI/CD.
  • Model front-end and back-end data sources to gain a comprehensive understanding of user interactions and enable powerful data analysis.
  • Design and build scalable data architectures to support business growth and improvement initiatives.
  • Effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in Python, SQL, and data visualization/exploration tools.
  • Familiarity with big data and Google Cloud platforms.
  • Solid work experience with Google Cloud Bigdata toolset, including BigQuery, Airflow, and CI/CD.
  • Knowledge of industry-wide visualization and analytics tools, such as Tableau and R.
  • Strong understanding of Core Java, Linux, SQL, and scripting languages.
  • Experience with Spark and Hive.
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
